Terms & Conditions.

These terms govern the supply of kitchen respraying, UPVC spraying, furniture spraying, commercial spraying, shop front and garage door spraying, internal & external joinery spraying, roof spraying, cladding spraying and static caravan spraying services by Elite Refinishing Co ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the client").

Contacting us, booking work or accepting a written quote constitutes acceptance of these terms in full. Any variation must be agreed by us in writing.

Quotes are fixed in writing after a free in-person survey or detailed photographs. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Pricing assumes substrate condition consistent with what was seen at the survey; if unseen damage or contamination is uncovered during prep that materially affects scope, we will pause and agree any adjustment with you in writing before continuing.

Projects are confirmed in writing with a start and finish date. A booking deposit (typically 25%) is payable to secure the calendar slot. The deposit secures dates, materials ordering and scheduling, and is deducted from the final invoice.

The client agrees to:

• Provide access to the property on the agreed dates
• Move or protect personal belongings, valuables and breakables from the immediate work area
• Provide reasonable access to mains electricity and water
• Ensure pets and children are kept clear of work areas for safety

Exterior work is scheduled around forecast and may be rescheduled if conditions threaten the integrity of the finish. We always give as much notice as possible.

The balance is payable on completion and walk-through of the project. Accepted payment methods are bank transfer or cash. Invoices and the insurance-backed guarantee certificate are issued on completion. Late payment may incur interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

Every project carries an insurance-backed guarantee against peeling, cracking and lacquer failure under normal domestic or commercial use. UPVC specifically carries a 10-year coating warranty (marine-grade where applicable). The guarantee certificate is issued on completion and details the specific coverage, exclusions and claims process.

The guarantee does not cover:

• Damage caused by impact, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or solvent-based cleaning products
• Damage from subsequent third-party work on the same substrate
• Damage from extreme accidental events (fire, flood, building movement)
• Substrate failure (e.g. the unit itself failing) unrelated to the spray finish

Bookings cancelled more than 14 days before the agreed start date are refunded the deposit in full, less any non-refundable bespoke materials already ordered. Cancellations inside 14 days may forfeit some or all of the deposit, reflecting the calendar slot reserved.

Where the contract is concluded off-premises, consumers may have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Requesting work to begin during the cooling-off period may reduce or remove that right; full details are provided at the point of booking.

We carry full public liability insurance. Our total liability for any direct loss caused by our negligence in performing the contract is limited to the price paid for the project, except where law prohibits such limitation. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited under law.
